Can’t believe we made it through an entire day with NO rain. It was cloudy and rain was predicted but it never showed up and for that I am thankful. We’ve had a good day…worship and class this morning, lunch with the Crockett’s, NCAA basketball games this afternoon, and then a date with George this evening. We went to a nice Italian restaurant…our first time going to Guiseppe’s and I’m sure it won’t be our last…very delicious!
We will have the Crockett kids tomorrow…Tanya is working…and that will be a fun day. Jerod was sick today with a virus that they have been passing around in their family so I’m not sure just what all we’ll be doing. Then tomorrow evening we will be going to Louisville for our small group Bible study…so tomorrow will be a busy day.
Tuesday I have a couple of friends coming from Louisville for lunch. I haven’t seen Geri Bare or Carol Heizer for several months and look forward to catching up on what’s been going on with both of them…we’re BeautiControl buddies!
The remainder of the week is pretty open until Sunday April 6th…Madi’s 7th birthday. We’ll go back to Louisville for that special occasion and she can’t wait. She thought today was the 6th and was all excited until her mother informed her it was still another week. Oh to look forward to a birthday like a child!
Hope today was a good one for you as you spent time reflecting on God and how very much He continues to bless your life. Enjoy your week and Spring is finally showing up…the trees are blooming, the grass is green, and the flowers are popping up everywhere. Now if we can get just a little bit warmer days…not hot/humid…I just want the perfect spring days!
