Well, it’s almost time to hit the road, meet up with family in both Alabama and Florida, and soak up some sunshine. We ask you to pray for our safety as we travel and that our time with Carter, Lori, and her parents will be a good time of coming closer together. I certainly do love FAMILY!
Last evening we got word from my sister, Linda, that her dear friend, Jean, lost her battle with cancer but won her place with the Lord. We know that she was so dear to so many and will be missed terrible, but to know she’s with the angels has to make it somewhat easier to have to say “see you later”. Life is short and full of so many things, both good and not so good, but our time of “walking on the streets of gold” will never end.
Also, I talked to my sister-in-law, Linda, yesterday and she will have to have yet another surgery sometime soon. The last back surgery…two weeks ago…was not as successful as they had hoped. While in her back last time, they found even more areas of her spine that needs fixing. We will all be so glad when she can be pain free once more and no longer have to deal with all these issues she’s been enduring for so many months. Therefore, put her on your prayer list!
We are making plans to go back to Abilene for Thanksgiving and I know that will be fun. We don’t normally plan out trips there so close together, but this is just something we want to do, so we’re going! We, also, have plans to return to Florida for 3-4 weeks in January and will be in Sarasota this year. I know this will be another fun time with the people we’ve met from that area. We sound like a bunch of gypsy’s but we’re just trying to enjoy all this travel while we’re still able.
Guess I’d better get back to my “Suzy homemaker” stuff, along with finishing up our cleaning at the “blue house”…guest coming in tomorrow…, and I’ll be back when I have a spare minute…may be next week!!! Love to you all.
Blessings……..
