The rain finally stopped yesterday and we got to enjoy many hours playing in the BIG waves, watching people, and just plain enjoying our time on the beach. Â Of course, there are always consequences to having that much fun…to much sun on areas not usually exposed. Â I got far to much sun on my thighs but that’s about all that was “over baked”…worth it, though, just getting to be here!
It rained extremely hard at times on our way down here, rained hard off and on both Saturday and Sunday, but by the time Monday afternoon arrived the rain finally stopped.
We’d visit the beach in between the rain showers on the rainy days, but we never got to stay out really a long time. Regardless of the weather, we are having a great time and enjoying our time with everyone. Unfortunately, the party will end in the morning (Wednesday) and we will head back home…a good 12 hour ride! From the looks on the radar, we may be riding home in the rain once again.
Time to head back to the beach…hope all reading this will have a sunny, healthy day. Love to all. The sun set last night was beautiful and I hope we’ll see another one tonight…meaning no rain!
