We received an e-mail yesterday from the guy we WERE going to rent the condo from in January with bad news. Well…to make a long story short, we are no longer going to be able to rent his new place because of insurance issues he’s having. We have rented from him in the past so we know he’s an honest man and he’s very disappointed that his new place can not be used as they had hoped. We speculate that they have bought this house for personal use for when they come to the states…they reside in England…and had plans for making the lower level into a rental condo but insurance is saying that’s not to happen. Oh well, George will just have to keep on looking! We are disappointed but we know other places will be found so the hunt is once again on.
Today is an absolutely beautiful day and we’ll be going to the UK / Florida football game this evening…so it sure won’t be to cold! I feel certain UK will get beat to a pulp as Florida is really a better team, but it will be fun to watch it happen. Going to the games are lots of fun even when my heart is not a big UK fan.
Well, we finally leased ourselves a NEW Ford Fusion and are now the proud owners of three (3) vehicles. We don’t plan to use the new car all the time, but it will give us dependable transportation when we travel…which seems to be often these days. I know we’ll enjoy having it but I really haven’t given up on the van even though it’s old, ugly, and tired…gets me where I want to go and back home so that’s all I care about!
George has agreed to teach a Sunday School class at church for the next four (4) weeks and I feel certain he will do a fantastic job. He’s always been an excellent teacher and I know he will continue on, even though it’s been several years since he’s done so. He’s using Psalms 73 as his base…read it again and you’ll understand why that’s one of his favorites.
Guess that’s about all the news I have so I’ll get back to my knitting. Have a wonderful Lord’s day tomorrow and we’ll do the same. Love to you all!
Blessings……
