We have a birthday BOY today….

Today we celebrate the life of our third son, Scott.  Scott is a hard working man that loves to have lots of projects going on at the same time…therefore, life is never dull around him.  He is currently getting their new home up to their standards while trying to sell their current house, works hard at his job, loves to play golf, and is the father of the twins…so he’s a busy man.  Happy  birthday, Scott, and may you be blessed with many more.  Love you lots!

You can all call me Ms. Suzy Homemaker for now!  The last few days I have cleaned out the frig, cleaned all the drawers in the kitchen and pantry, washed the windows,  cleaned out my dresser and my side of the closet, got all the “extra” stuff out of the closet in the dining room and the carriage house…this means dishes, etc. that are seldom used…and stored on some shelving George put up downstairs.  Now I’m headed to the “blue house” to do the few things I have to do there for our guest that will be arriving tomorrow.  I think I may need therapy!

We are having some beautiful fall weather…quite cool at night and mid 70’s during the day…so it’s great here in central KY.  I have started  walking for exercise again, so, this is perfect weather for that.  I have heard that exercise will make you feel better but all it does is make me tired!  I know I need to do this, but I sure wish I would get to the point of enjoying it like a lot of people do.  Oh well, guess that will come eventurally.  I walk three miles in about 47-50 minutes so it’s not a lot of time involved…it’s just doing it!!!

Got to go and get our sheets on the  clothes line before I head to the “blue house”…love sheets that have dried outside!  Have a great day and I’ll be back soon.

A quick update on my dad…doing well but still having trouble getting his strength back where he wants it to be…he’s to walk every day for 15 + minutes but seems to be just to tired.  Come on dad…make yourself do it!  Our neighbor, Trisha, got great news concerning her cancer…all the limp nods came back clear!  She will have chemo and radiation to keep it from coming back but it was a real relief to know they did not find any more cancer.  I’ve been taking her dinner most nights and she thinks I’m a great cook…eating stuff she hadn’t had before…Lori, she loved the chicken  with that spice on it but most meals are just regular stuff.  Glad she likes what I cook!

Really going this time.  Love to all!

Blessings………
