I heard the weatherman mention the possibility of “snow” next week and that was not even funny! Â I don’t know if he meant flurries ,or accumulation, but I can assure you…even ONE flake is ONE flake to many. Â I can hear the beach calling our names for sure!
We are looking forward to seeing my folks in just a couple more weeks.  My dad is really not doing very well and I’m praying he’ll soon get that LOW blood pressure back to an acceptable level and that it will remain there.  No wonder he has no energy with the extremely LOW blood pressure he’s been having…and the fact it fluctuates so much is a real concern…and they can’t seem to get it to stabalize.  I want to find out if he’s over medicated and are the medicines he’s taking counteracting each other while I’m there…if I possible can.  Mom is doing well, thankfully, but she stays in a state of worry, which is understandable, and will sap her energy before long.  Oh the joy of aging!
The Crockett family left for the Dominican Republic this afternoon. Â Tanya and Meredith will be doing medical missions while the boys and Dan will be doing baseball clinics with the boys there. Â They were excited about the possibilities the week will present and also a little apprehensive because it’s all unknown to them. Â Please pray they will be safe and that Jesus will be shown to all those they encounter.
My ankle still has a couple of sore spots but the x’rays yesterday said there is NO broken anything…that’s the good news. Â I will continue to wear my boot until I go back on the 20th and we’ll see what I do from there. Â I always knew exercise was dangerous…ligament damage is slower to repair than a break, so I’ve been told. Â Therefore, I really pray my OLD body will get busy and do some serious healing before we head to Texas.
We send our congratulations to our niece, Victoria, on passing the bar and is now qualified to practice law in TX and WI.  Congratulations and we’re excited to see where you’ll be doing your practice.  Also, sending get well wishes to our sister-in-law, Linda, as she is once again recovering from back surgery.  We’re praying this  surgery has fixed the problem and she’ll be pain free very soon.
Guess that’s about it for now. Â Have a great weekend and we’re enjoying the sunshine…even though it’s rather cool…and looking forward to being with God’s family tomorrow. Â Love to all.
Blessings…..
