Fun time yesterday…

We  went to Louisville yesterday afternoon to spend some time with all the Gabehart’s and that was a really fun time.  All the kids are growing up far to fast, but are so much fun to interact with.  Melissa fixed a really good meal…Mexican mess…and even made a really good, glutin free, dessert.  Since it’s easier for the two of us to go there for a quick visit…vs. the six of them trying to come to Wilmore…we plan to do that again before long.  I don’t expect a fancy meal each time, but that will sure be a plus!

We are getting ready for the artic blast that’s expected to arrive tomorrow and praying the snow will never find its way here.  Of course, there is no accumulation expected, but it’s still snow and that means…cold, slush, slippery walks,  etc.

Not much happening here but did want to say that Linda Lou has done really well with her recent back surgeery.  Once the incision heals, we are praying she’s going to be pain free and that the surgery was a complete success.  Dad is still struggling to regain his strength but we’ll keep praying about that.  He really needs to eat more, walk daily, and get that blood pressure up before that will happen.  Love you, Dad, now up and at ’em!

Got to get busy cleaning our dusty house before we head over to work at the “blue house”.  Have a great week and we’ll look forward to hearing about the Crockett’s adventures in the Dominican Republic.  Should be interesting.  Love to all.

Blessings……
