Winter has arrived in Central Kentucky along with most all of the US. Â Thankfully, we were not hit hard this go ’round but who knows what the next one will bring in just a couple of days. Â Have I ever said how much I dislike winter? Â Well, to be honest, I hate the cold, ice, and all other things that go along with winter. Â I do believe I could live in the warmer climates year ’round and be OK. Â Oh well, such is life and I will survive.
Mom and Dad are both in the nursing home for now. Â Mother was moved in around lunch time yesterday and will be receiving her physical therapy there while Dad just hangs out waiting for her to improve enough for them to go back home. Â I am thankful they are together and not in two seperate places. Â I know the PT will be difficult, at best, but my prayer is that it will prove to be sucessful and mother will no longer be in the constant severe pain that she’s had since her fall. Â Please keep praying.
Tonight we are going to watch Meredith, along with her dance team, dance the Nutcracker. Â We’ve seen it numerous times now, but it’s always good to see how the dancers dance so gracefully each year. Â Meredith is especially good at ballerina but her heart is more into the hip hop…guess that goes with being a teenager.
Not much happening so guess I’ll close for now. Â Have a safe and warm weekend while enjoying the beauty of the snow/ice from inside your house…and we all need to keep reminding ourselves that “this to shall pass”. Â Love to all.
Blessings….
