What a special day today is…Ryan’s birthday and he’s already 19!!! Â Ryan is a very special guy that’s musically talented, kind, compassionate, strong willed at times, still trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life, but has always been a fan of mine. Â Enjoy your day and your last year of being a teenager! Â Love you so very much.
I returned home last night and it’s so good to be back home and with George. Â It was hard leaving my mother but she’s going to be OK, I feel certain. Â She’s going to be working hard at getting back to University Place, aka. home, but she’s got to be able to get out of bed by herself before that will happen…going to be a slow process and when the pain returns, it’s going to be a hard road to travel. Â She is to be moved back to the nursing home/rehab center today. Â Mom and dad will be glad just to be back together so they can just see that the other one is doing OK…at least see that the other one is still sleeping and breathing. Â So we’ll keep praying for her, and for dad, and pray their remaining days will be bearable. Â Gonna take a lot of patience on both of them, and on all of us, as we walk this journey with them from a distance.
Got to run and get my hair trimmed so I won’t be quite so scary while we enjoy being in Florida all of January. Â Have a wonderful Christmas Eve, a very Merry Christmas, and I am so thankful for family and friends, but I am thrilled we have Jesus to carry us through each day. Â Again Happy Birthday Ryan…and Happy Birthday Jesus! Â Love to you all.
