We arrived yesterday afternoon and, as usual, the beach is beautiful. Â It is cool here but sure a lot better than what’s at home…mid 60’s right now. Â Of course, the wind is blowing and the waves are rolling, so all is well here.
I hated to see UofL basketball loose to UK yesterday but that’s what happens when you don’t hit the free throws or get a lot of the rebounds. Â UofL football rocked on with a BIG win against Miami so they ended their season in a big way. Â I’ll always be a Card fan even when they don’t win…sort of like a true Cowboy fan!
I got word this morning that my mom was able to get back up to a standing position yesterday and that is by far the most exciting, and best, news for today. Â She is working so hard at getting herself, and dad, back home and none of this is easy in any way. Â She’s tough and never has been a quitter so she will continue on. Â Dad is still working on blood sugar issues but that’s been going on for some time now…still doing PT on his legs, too.
