Sunny but cool…

We had an amazing experience yesterday while we were out.  We had gone for our daily walk in town and when we got back to the car George decided to check out a fishing spot along the beach we had visited on Sunday.  As we drove up, we noticed the beautiful, rolling clouds that were bringing us our current “cold” front.  It was a beautiful site that only lasted a few minutes as the clouds were moving very fast.  Here is a picture I took with my phone…

We feel so bad for all those that are truly freezing with all the sub zero temperatures.  Our cold here is in the 30’s which would be like a heat wave for others.  I am concerned that our feral cat may have frozen to death, but there’s nothing I can do about that, and I pray none of the pipes at our house, or the blue house, have burst.  Who would have ever guessed that we’d have such cold weather when all we hear about is “global warming”?

Can we say we are all glad college football is over for this year?  We watched the championship game last night…George was  rooting for Auburn but they came up just a tad short.  It was a good game and very exciting to watch but enough is enough.  Now on to “Downton Abbey” and “American Idol”.  lol

Since it’s to cold to go to the beach, we may take in a movie today.  We’re wanting to see “Saving Mr. Banks” as we’re hearing it’s a very good movie for a change…we’ll let you know our opinion on it later.

Guess that’s about it for now.  Still hearing good reports out of Abilene…Mom and Dad are making good progress…out of Nashville concerning my sister-in-law, Linda, she is slowly improving…and from Hawaii where Carter and Lori are vacationing and relaxing while enjoying all that’s there…rough life for them.  As for Clark, Scott, Melissa, and Tanya…they are doing their best to stay warm!  Bless their sweet hearts.  Have a good day and stay warm and safe.  Love to you all.

Blessings.
