Help!!! Â I need some coffee but something happen during the night and we have no power in our area this morning…thankful for batteries or I wouldn’t be writing this. Â Guess some “young” geezer knocked down a pole.
We got word yesterday that my mother is once again in the hospital due to the fluid retention from having Congestive Heart Failure. Â She had been doing so well but when I talked with her on Friday night I knew it was back because of how raspy her voice was. Â I was assured on Saturday that she was doing OK but by Sunday morning she was back in the hospital. Â She isn’t as bad as she was the last time, but she’s not good either. Â Therefore, please pray for her…and for my dad…as they go through these next difficult days.
Our time here is about half over and we are having warm days about half the time. Â Every day that’s warm you’ll find us at the beach enjoying all that entails. Â I never get to much beach time!
We enjoyed going to the Methodist, aka “geezer”, pancake breakfast on Saturday morning in Englewood with Ron and Jean…always a BIG crowd with lots of interesting people. Â They have upped the menu and now include sausage gravy and biscuits. Â Of course, I get the dull scrambled egg and sausage but it was a good morning…even bought me a package of yarn for $1.50 at their craft items tables.
I heard last night that Tanya is sick with the flu, as are a lot of folks in Wilmore, so I’m hoping it will have moved on by the time we go back home. Â I know Tanya gets the mandatory flu shot, but when you deal with so much flu infected people, I guess you can still get it. Â Hope she’s better soon and the headache, fever, etc. isn’t found by any of the others in her house.
Guess I’ll get myself ready for the day. Â Please pray for my mom, Tanya, and any others you know that have need of some special prayer. Â Linda and Jim will be leaving for Vienna in just three weeks and are both anxious and excited about that opportunity. Â Patsy got to visit her mom yesterday…she’s currently in Murray…and found her doing well and enjoyed that special treat. Â Life is busy and full of both joy and sorrow, but I will be joyful with each day and find God’s blessings throughout my day. Â Love to you all.
Blessings….
