We got up this morning to a balmy 36 degrees and I am wondering, “are we still in Florida”? Â We continue to have cool days but with lots of sunshine…on most days…so all in all it’s great to be here. Â I saw on the weather app that Kentucky is NOT enjoying much sunshine and it’s definitely COLD in the bluegrass state. Â We only have a couple of weeks left to enjoy ourselves before we go back to reality and COLD dreary days/nights, so we’ll head over to the beach soon.
I really have nothing to write about this morning, as there’s not much happening for now. Â George did get to go fishing the other day and he caught several fish…Sheephead…but threw them all back or fed the peliicans. Â He said that he, and Ron, had fun and that’s all they wanted to do…no fish fry was even considered. Â We continue to walk our 2 + miles most days and then we’ll piddle away the remainder of each day. Â I have knitted some things, read two books, and played on the computer some but that’s about the extent of my “busy” days. Â It is nice to have some R&R days as our “real life” is quite different than this one. Â We continue to get calls about bookings for the “blue house” so that’s good. Â If we’re going to have in, I want it rented.
Carter and Lori come home from Hawaii tomorrow and they’ll be wishing they were back when they get off that plane and step into the snowy Nashville weather. Â This has been a really cold winter for most all of the USA so Spring will be even sweeter when it arrives.
Mom is suppose to return to the rehab place this weekend, or on Monday, and I know she’ll be glad to be back with Daddy. Â She’s still not well but better than she was…once all the extra fluid is gone, she does better. Â In fact, the doctor told her that if she kept working hard she would most like walk again. Â I know that was music to her ears…until she remembers just how hard she’ll have to work but she’s willing to give it her best. Â Tanya is better from having the flu and will be going to work today…been over a week since she’s been able to do that. Â The flu shot doesn’t protect from all strains of the flu and she got bitten hard by one of those strains. Â As for all the others, I guess they are all doing well ’cause “no news, is good news”. Â Love to you all.
Blessings…
