This month consist of many birthdays but we have finally gotten to the one that will be celebrated with the greatest gusto! Neyland and Turner are turning FOUR today and they are beyond excited. They are the sweetest four year olds that we know, extremely smart, love Batman and Superman…along with other super hero’s…and coloring is right at the top of the list for Neyland and putting puzzles together for Turner. Trucks, tractors, scooters, and cars are also right up towards the top of both of their list…truly ALL BOY boys! Happy birthday and we’ll be face timing you tonight! Love you both so much and thankful you are blessing our family by just being YOU!
We’re still plugging away at getting the kitchen finished. Today we did some of the cabinet facings…refinished them…and hopefully will get the remainder done by this weekend. Yesterday we put in a chair rail, along with “bead boarding” (I think that’s what that’s called) on the wall, and under the chair rail, that the table is on and it looks great. We are getting the counter tops installed in one more week and that will be wonderful ’cause that means we’ll have a sink and running water again! It’s amazing what an upgrade can do to enhance a room. Almost makes it fun to cook in there…I said almost!
We are still having very cold weather but there is sunshine today and temperatures are going into the 30’s! A real heat wave compared to what we’ve had ever since we got home from Florida. Spring will be so sweet…so Spring come on and jump on board.
Guess that’s about all my news for today. Again…HAPPY BIRTHDAY TURNER AND NEYLAND!…my dad seems to be doing OK but will never be truly happy now that the love of his life is dancing with the heavenly angels…Linda and Jim are in full swing of their time in Vienna…Branden was featured in the Louisville newspaper yesterday and is quite the artist…as for the rest of us, we are all doing great and all are remaining fat and sassy! Love to all reading this “grandma blog”.
