We enjoyed having a beautiful spring-like day on Saturday so we could jump right back to winter on Sunday. We had more snow last night which means the kids got yet another snow day to make up in June. Surely this will be the last snow for awhile…at least we’re hoping this will be the last one.
We had a good weekend and ended it by having our life group here for dinner and study. They are a diverse group but it’s been enjoyable getting to know each one better…there’s only 11 of us in this group so it’s rather small.
We were suppose to go to Louisville today for the state academic events, but, unfortunately, Jerod’s team lost yesterday. They did well just by getting to the state level, but this just wasn’t their year to advance to the top.
Linda Lou had her surgery and she’s still having a rough time…of course it would be with all they did to her back. We’re still praying that healing will be complete, she’ll be pain free, and again have some quality of life. The next six weeks will be difficult but she’s determined to do exactly what her doctor’s have told her to do. Feel better, sweet sister, and we’ll all keep praying for you all.
No news today so I’ll get busy doing something fun like “cleaning the blue house” once our guest leave. Have a great week and let’s all think SPRING!!! Love to all.
