Even though we got some bad news on my dad late last night, he’s resting well and will be in the hospital 3-4 days with congestive heart failure. He was saying while we were with him this past week that he just couldn’t breathe…mom did the same thing before she was diagnosed with CHF…and now we know why breathing was so hard for him. Apparently his symptoms were not definite as he saw his doctor just yesterday morning and was told to exercise more…hard to do when you’re almost 95 and can’t breathe…and his lungs were full by the time he got to the emergency room around 8 p.m. I pray he won’t suffer and he’ll soon be with mom as he’s so lonely and miserable since her death.
Tyler is coming for a visit this afternoon so things ought to pick up a tad around here. Not really sure just what we’ll be doing but we’ll find something to do I feel sure. Madi has gone camping, I think, with a friend and her family…and I was hoping both Tyler and Kyle could come for a few days so they can say they did something during their spring break. Kyle didn’t want to miss his baseball practice since he’s the captain of the team, so he’s staying home.
The “blue house” is ready for our guest and I really should work on our house now, but it’s not going to happen today. One house a day is enough for me! Spring has come to Wilmore, for now, and the flowers are blooming and the grass is green. Let’s all give a big shout for spring…hip, hip, hurrah!
Got some errands to run before I head to Frankford to collect Tyler. Please pray for daddy and that he’ll be comfortable. Love to you all.
Blessings…..
