Another birthday is to be celebrated today! Madison LeighAnn Gabehart is 13 years old…that’s right 13 years old…and it seems like yesterday that she was a sweet little girl. The years are sure flying by! Madi is a very talented girl as she excels in school, sports…track and volleyball..and art. She does her best to stay one step ahead of her parents and that’s a fun thing to watch…so much like her mother! Happy, happy birthday sweet Madi and I love you and am so very proud of the girl you are. Keep being sweet and life will be good…at least better than bucking your parents every day!
No news yet today on dad so I’m guessing all is well for now. I talked to him again yesterday and he said he was “so so”…not as good as his saying the day before he was OK. He sounded more raspy and short of breath but he could hear better but I don’t think he was processing much of what was being said.. He’s not eating and that’s a concern. All the things he’s doing are the very same things mom did…goes with having congestive heart failure…and that means his days are truly limited. I’m still praying he’ll remain comfortable and that he will be with The Lord soon. I love my dad and sure hate he’s having to go through this, but I’m so thankful he knows The Lord and has so much waiting for him.
