Oh how my heart is breaking knowing the condition my father is in. He has totally given up, refuses to eat or take any medication…therefore, the fluids will build up around his heart again…and Hospice has been called in to help him through his last few days on this earth. I did get to hear his voice yesterday and will cherish his two words forever…”Hi Sweetheart”, but I won’t hear him any more because he’s to weak and just to sick. I don’t want him to linger just to suffer, but it will be so hard to say my very final good-bye very soon. He’s so ready to be with mom and to meet our Lord face to face…for that assurance and hope, I’m eternally thankful…but it’s still hard. Please pray for him, and for all of us that love him, and for his journey to be completed soon.
