We met Melissa in Frankfort this afternoon to transport Madi back to her family. She wasn’t ready to go but she didn’t want to miss her gymnastics class in the morning, so there was nothing left to do but go home. She seemed to have enjoyed her time here and I know for fact she enjoyed her time with her cousins…especially Meredith. They are both very creative so they created a “stall” in the back of the carriage house for their imaginary horses. They did a great job and we now have one forth of that area clean. The back of the carriage house is unfinished and separated by a wall from the front which is George’s workshop, etc. Maybe the next time Madi comes they will want to expand their “stall” and we’ll get half of it clean!Â
We go to camp this Sunday and we’re looking forward to that. It will be a great week cooking with most of our very best friends for about 125-150 people each day. A couple of the kids have written me to tell me how glad they are we’re coming. Now that’s a blessing! George use to be one of their Bible school teachers and they love being with him. They are good kids and fun to be around.
We are going to Louisville tomorrow night for Kyle’s 12th birthday dinner. We’ll be staying over so we can go to Chester’s funeral on Thursday morning and then we’ll come back home. That will be a sad time but we sure want to be there for his family.
Got to get busy and find something to do since Madi isn’t here to motivate me.
Blessings……
