This is my fifth trip to Abilene in just 4 1//2 months and I find it so bittersweet. We will be having the visitation for my dad this evening and then our final good-bye tomorrow morning. I praise God for his life and for the fact that I always knew I was loved by him, along with his loving all the family. He was proud of us all! He, and Mom, will be forever missed but I am so thankful that they are neither one suffering and have gotten their new, eternal bodies. Thank you Lord for giving me such loving, forgiving parents. Rest, sweet parents, and we’ll all be back together when our lives come to an end. I will love you all my days even if I can’t touch you!
Windy in Abilene, but warm, so things are normal around here. I really have no news but just wanted to post something. We’re looking forward to the different family members arriving today and that’s one of the good things about funerals and weddings. I will post more, as I can, and still appreciate your prayers as we go through these last few days. Love to you all.
Blessings……
