What a gloomy day but, thankfully, it’s in the 50’s so not to bad. We went to a pancake breakfast for Lacey’s softball team this morning and it was good being with her…what little we saw of her…, Clark and Vanessa, and Vanessa’s parents.Â
George is currently helping our friends Adam and Emily move to their new home. I conveniently stayed home! Now who’s the smart one in this family? Better yet, who’s being the servant we’re all called to be? Yikes!!! That hurt.
We had a good dinner party last night with the “OLD” study group gang and we will continue to meet every month just so we will stay connected. We met for 3.5 – 4 years and don’t want to drift apart. We sure missed Isaac, Jenny, and kids but Missouri was a little far away just to come to dinner.
George has done a fantastic job of getting most of the treasures out of the attic. We still have quite a large stack of “keepables” but that may have to be reduced before it’s all over. Again, where did all these valuables come from? I’m sure our kids would have no problem throwing a lot of it out.
I am currently in a study with my Wednesday night ladies class using a book by Chip Ingram names “God as he longs for you to know him” and I think it’s going to continue to be a good one. I will also start another Beth Moore study, starts March 20th,  at Southeast called “Loving Well” and I’m looking for to that as well. Beth Moore is such a dynamic presenter, loves the Lord with a passion, and I have always benefited from being in her classes. I’ll post more on this as I get into it.
Have a blessed weekend!
