I can’t believe we’ve had to turn the heat back on!  This has to be a first for the middle of May here in Central Kentucky.  Thankfully it’s not going to have to be on for very many days.  In fact, spring/summer will both be around this next week.  Ya just gotta love Kentucky weather.

Not much happening around here for now and that’s always a good thing.  George continues to work in his wood working shop and has completed some really pretty bowls.  He could sell them at a fair price, but he doesn’t want to go to the trouble to do so but, I think if he could sell enough to pay for his blanks and, just maybe, buy the joiner/plainer he says he’s going to need eventually.  Therefore, our house is getting overloaded with bowls!!!

I’m still having my moments of grieving over mom and dad but I am healing.  I’m currently reading the newest Richard Paul Evans book and I had a hard time getting through the part where the guy’s dad dies.  I was instantly in tears and had to stop reading for a day but was able to start again yesterday.  This is one of my favorite authors and the “Walk” series is an excellent read.  I have also ripped out a sweater I had made…decided it was to large…so I’m in the process of re-knitting it but not making much progress for now.  Oh well, winter is a ways off so I have lots of time to get it completed.

We were going to one of the art fairs today but have decided to wait until tomorrow when it’s a little warmer.  We, aka ME, don’t like having to wear a bulky coat to things like that so we’ll wait!  We have a friend that has a booth there and I pity him having to stay out in these low 40 degree mornings.  The last time we went to the Midway, KY show, it was so hot you could hardly breathe.  Again, gotta love KY!  Guess we’ll just have to go to the mall and do some birthday shopping as we have a grandson celebrating his special day this next week.

Got laundry coming out of the drier so guess I’d better get to that.  Have a wonderful week-end.  Love to you all.

Blessings……
