Remembering…..

Today would have been mother’s 95th birthday and my heart is so heavy today.  I miss her more than I have words to express my feelings.  I am thankful for her life and she truly was the heart of our family.  We were all so blessed to have so many wonderful years and memories with her…and even some not so wonderful memories.  What a blessing to know we were always loved…even when we disappointed her.  I love you Mother and wish I could talk to you today but that will just have to wait until we meet again at the feet of Jesus.

We’re going to Louisville this afternoon to watch Kyle and Tyler play some tournament baseball…sure hope they win.  They both love the game, and are good, so it makes the trip very worthwhile.  On Friday we’re headed to Detroit…that’s right DETROIT…to watch the Tigers/Rangers baseball games with the Crockett’s.  This will be fun and interesting as we have a lot of sights to see in a very short time…even hoping to go into Canada!  Life is busy for these OLD folks, but we are so grateful we’re able to do all we do.

Time to get back to my knitting…resting up for this week-end…but I did want to say “Happy Birthday, Mom” and you are terrible missed but never forgotten.  Love to all!

Blessings……
