We are here at camp expecting a full week of fun and excitement. We fed about 110 for dinner and it was a good meal…hamburgers cooked on the grill with all the dressings, chips, homemade cookies, and watermelon. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed it so we’re off to a good start.
As soon as our friends Frances and Lovell Richardson got here they had to leave and head for Bowling Green. Their son-in-law, Doug, had a heart attack and he’s in his forties. Heart problems run in his family so it ‘s a really big concern. If fact, one of his brothers dropped dead of a heart attack just a year or so ago. Please pray for Doug and all his family as the doctors are trying to determine just how to help him.
In case, I don’t get on here tomorrow…HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY JEROD!!! Hope you have a good year and it’s so very hard to see you grow up so fast. You’re a very special young man.
I’ll be back when I can. We’re praying all will go well and the kids will learn more about who Jesus is and how we want and need Him so desperately in our lives.
Blessings…….
