Yesterday we went to Louisville to watch the Awards Presentation for Tyler, along with his 8th grade graduation. He received a bag full of awards during the ceremony! He’s been on the Honor Roll all three years of middle school, the Presidents award for Academic Excellence, US Leadership Award, Distinguished & Proficient in reading, science, math, and “a-bar” (awarded these more than one year), Outstanding in Mathematics..one of only three selected, Outstanding in Choral Accompanist, played on the school baseball team, Captain of the baseball team, played on the Fern Creek High School Baseball Team, but could not accomplish a perfect attendance. Congratulations Tyler!
Now this morning I learn that Kyle has also excelled at his high school. There were 30 high school students from Louisville selected to be honored by the Louisville Business First. They started with the honors students that were nominated by their selective schools for their academic accomplishment and Kyle was chosen by his school. He maintains a 3.9 GPA, in the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Baseball, Principal’s Advisory Council, Honor Roll, and he currently wants to major in Premed or Physical Therapy wherever he goes to college. All I can say is WOW! Congratulation to Kyle for being so dedicated and working so hard.
Guess that about wraps up what I have to tell you. We are so blessed to have such gifted, intelligent grandchildren and pray each one of them will have a good career, a fulfilling life, and much happiness. Love to each of them…along with all reading this. Not I’ll get back to my “suzy homemaker” stuff.
