What a busy day…

Today was a really busy day!  After church this morning, we headed to Louisville to see Tyler play baseball even though it’s considered “dead week”….coaches don’t work with their players but some fathers do.  We were told it would be a double header, but it ended up just being a 9 inning game against Highview.  They won easily and it was good getting to see Tyler play and he really is good at bat and in the field.  Once we said our good-byes there, we headed to Versailles, KY…actually on our way home…to watch Grayson play ball with his All Star Team.  This was his second game for the day and they came up a little short.  Grayson did well, but the first game they all did much better and won by a hefty margin.  Grayson got two triples…one ended as a home run due to an error…and not sure what else he did.  Congratulations to both Tyler and Grayson!!!

Jerod is starting his part time job with Chic-Fil-La tomorrow and he’s anxious about just what all that means.  He’ll do well, I know, and have lots of fun things to tell his family about the interesting people that eat there…and work there.  He learned earlier this week what his ACT score was…a 34…so that’s very exciting!!!  Now he’ll be getting lots of college information, etc., along with some scholarship offers.

Carter and Lori are at the beach and looking forward to a week of rest, sun, and waves.  Lucky people!!!  We were hoping Clark and Vanessa would get to come our way for the 4th but his work just can’t get by without him, so they aren’t coming…poo to Case!  We are having Madi come here on Tuesday for a few days and that will be interesting and fun…not sure what we’ll do but we’ll do something, I’m positive.  Kyle is working at his new job in a restaurant in Louisville…kitchen helper…and he said it was a fun environment so that makes working OK.  As for all the rest of us…we are all busy, staying WARM, but enjoying life.  We are so blessed.

Have a great week enjoying life!  Tomorrow Victoria turns the big 3-0 and we’ll be wishing her a very happy birthday…when I was her age I was pregnant with our 5th child!  Regardless, enjoy your special day, Victoria.   Love to all.

Blessings….
