We are currently back to our normal routine and is it ever quiet!!! We thoroughly enjoyed having Kyle and Tyler for a few days and they both seem to have enjoyed being here. Those two, along with the Crockett’s three boys, can make for lots of action. They all had lots of fun just being together playing baseball, basketball, swimming, video games, or just being cousins that love one another…let’s not forget eating. Five teenage boys do like to eat, ALOT!!! They even did a little wood working with their papa…each took home a nice bowl that they had made. We have lots of memories to enjoy forever and for that we are thankful.
We are loving today and the cooler weather. Unfortunately, Wilmore avoided most of the rain that’s been moving across our country and we really need some. We have had some hot days, with lots of humidity, but nothing extreme yet. It seems the weather patterns are changing so we never know just what’s coming up…shows who’s really in control for sure.
George has been searching, and searching, for a place for us to go for January and February in the Venice area with no luck. He did find a place in Sarasota we’ll probably go…we’ve rented from that family before…so we will be going to escape the cold but just not to Venice. It seems that the extreme cold of last winter has gotten all the OLDER folks going to Florida this next winter…no room at the Inn anywhere. We’re thankful we’ll be able to enjoy Siesta Keys this winter…a very beautiful beach…and Venice is only 35 +/- miles away for when we want to visit Ron and Jean, or Teresa and her family. We have someone to take care of the “blue house” so that’s no longer a big concern for while we’re gone for so long. We are BLESSED!
