This has been an amazing week for weather! Yesterday we couldn’t even get out of the “60’s” and it’s the middle of July…even got about an inch of rain!! We sure did need the rain so that was a big plus. In fact, we haven’t used our AC all this week and that’s been great…I love having the windows open and airing out the house. Of course, the heat will return next week but another cool spell is suppose to be behind it so we’ll see what happens then. This all makes me wonder just what winter might be like again this year. Last year it was a bitter cold winter, but this year we’ll be in Florida…for January and February…so we should miss a big chunk of the cold, thankfully.
Not much going on around here with no visiting grandkids, no real projects going on, and the “blue house” is currently occupied. Each day we seem to stay somewhat busy, and we love having no set schedule…which is really quite nice. Life is good for these OLD folks.
