Birthday time again…

Thirty years ago today we became grandparents for the first time and what an exciting day that was!  Sean Boyd Ezell was born to Clark and Vanessa making them very young parents and us “very” young grandparents.  Sean has grown up to be a good young man…finally about to finish up his degree at UofL…and is a joy to be around.  Sean, may today be a great day of celebrating YOU and may you never forget just how special you are to all the family.  Happy, happy birthday and we love you deeply.

Central Kentucky continues to set record lows for our nightly temperatures…54 last night…and running between 10-15 degrees cooler than our normal for the days.  I’m sure not complaining since we’ve been doing some landscaping in the backyard and I’m, also, painting the front part of the fence which is not a bad job…just not a very fun job!  This weather won’t last but another day, or so, so I’m doing my best to get all that fun stuff completed before the heat returns.  Of course, we also are staying very busy keeping up with the “blue house” and all the guest that are coming our way.

Everyone take a minute to think about Sean and wish him a happy birthday…if only in your thoughts…as turning 30 was a very difficult birthday for me many years ago.  I’d gladly accept that age now but only if I could leave out all the difficult stuff between 30 – 72!  Enjoy your day and I’ll be back soon.  Love to you all.

Blessings…..
