Here it is the Labor Day week-end! Summer is rapidly coming to an end…even though it’s in the 90’s every day. September means fall is just around the corner, then winter…yuck! But then again, Florida will be in the near future once winter sets in.
We’re excited that Scott, Allison, Turner, and Neyland are coming in this evening and looking forward to LOTS of fun the next couple of days. Clark and Vanessa are NOT coming because their lives are just to busy for now since they are in the process of moving to Kansas. Clark has accepted a job with AGC and starts on September 8th. He’ll basically be doing the same job he was doing with Case but with better benefits, etc. Kansas can get cold but it can’t be as cold as Racine, WI. was every winter, so that’s another plus. Carter and Lori won’t be coming, either, as they will be emptying out the kitchen for the remodel to begin early Tuesday morning…also, Chance won’t be in town so they’ll come later when he, and Emily, are here. As for the Gabeharts, that’s all iffy…some are working, playing baseball, etc. We all stay on the busy track and it’s so hard to jump off. Regardless, who all is here, we plan to have fun, do our best to stay cool, and enjoy playing with the twins. Of course, we’ll have the traditional cook out so we’ll all remain fat and sassy for awhile longer.
Not much else to share so guess I’ll get to the store to finish up my grocery shopping. I wanted the bread items, and milk, to be fresh, along with a quick stop at the Amish fruit/vegetable stand for some good tomatoes.
