We took Ryan and his bed home this afternoon and brought Kyle home with us. Ryan is real proud of his new bedroom and his new loft bed. George will be posting pictures of it, I’m sure…just not sure when. Melissa and Byron were still painting the walls and trim in his room when we got there, and she hopes to have it all finished by the end of this next week. The walls are a slate color, the trim is white, and the furniture is all black. She’ll be using red as the accent color so it should look very cool…maybe more towards the Louisville Cardinal theme. Go Cards!!!
We’re looking forward to our week with Kyle…not sure just what we’ll do, but I’m sure we’ll do something fun. He’s a good kid and easy to be around. He’ll be starting middle school this fall…August 12th to be exact…and looks forward to that with mixed emotions. He knows it will be a lot different than elementary school but he will adapt quickly.Â
I’m tired and need to get some things done before time for bed. Enjoy worship tomorrow.
