The ATTIC is same as FINISHED!!!

Only the keepable treasures are left in the attic, so I think we have finished cleaning it out.  YEAH and people say miracles don’t happen!  I know they do each time I go into that dreaded attic and see it so clean and empty.  We could probably get rid of even more stuff, and may do so before the yard sale, but it’s so good to be able to move around up there and not feel your life is in danger.  Now to attack the cedar lined closet, the master closet, kitchen cabinets, and the closet in the wash room.  We’ll be so clean and organized we’ll feel like guest in our own home and I repent to all those I teased through the years about being a pack rat…we’re ones too!  But that has changed for now and I hope it will be for good.  Why do we feel the need to keep so much stuff…things we haven’t used, wanted, or needed for years?

Our small group met last night and it was so refreshing to see people really hungry to know more about God and to learn more about his heart.  This will be an exciting adventure and they want to meet every week and not just every other week like we started out doing.  Pray for this group of people and we know God will work in them and in us.

A beautiful day in KY with temperatures in the high 70’s…spring is really trying to show itself.  Of course, it will be back in the 40’s for this weekend since we’re having our ladies retreat.  Oh well, a couple of days of sunshine can get you through a couple of days of cold.

Continue to pray for our friends, Syd and Suzanne Verbal, and their son Adrew that was in a terrible car accident and is still in a coma…this is day 10.  Yesterday was his 19th birthday. His dad is a physician and said that prayers are what has gotten him through this far. They had to remove the top of his skull so the brain could swell and we’re praying for a miracle that he will survive and be able to retain good brain function.  He will have years of rehab and recovery.

Have a blessed day!
