Today we celebrate the life of Meredith Page Crockett! She’s now able to drive…watch out world!…and so looking forward to it. Meredith is a great girl with a lot to offer this world. She’s an excellent student, runs cross country for her high school, does volunteer work for UK hospital, loved her internship with the NPR group this past summer, has a very compassionate heart, loves The Lord, her friends, and family and is doing her best to always stay one step ahead of her mom. Happy birthday Meredith and may this 16th year be all you are hoping it to be.
George and I are currently in Gatlinburg, TN and getting ready to go up into the mountain for a hike. It’s going to be in the 80’s so it’ll be on the warm side, but we’ll still have fun. Hope we see a bear…from a distance, of course. We’re staying at the Buckhorn Inn Resort and it’s such a lovely place. They are so accommodating with preparing my food and last night was DELICIOUS…salmon and I don’t even like salmon. This was not fishy and had a great avocado salsa on top…YUM!
Pray for Jerre’s…my baby brother…step son, Brian, as he’s terrible sick and has been in the hospital for almost a week. He’s got a terrible infection that seems to be taking over his stomach/intestine area and eating away at these organs. They have located the source of the infection, so here’s praying the right meds will take care of the problem. All I know is he’s one sick man!
