What a difference a day makes! It’s gotten really cool here already, and after some really hot days this summer, it’s a welcome relief. Warmer days are not over, but this taste of fall is good…should have been like this when we were in Gatlinburg.
Clark has started his new job…has a beautiful office…and they are in the process of getting their new-to-them big house set up and both seem to be loving all of it. Guess this is why it’s called the honeymoon stage!
We have finally made reservations for our two months in Florida this winter. We’ll be in Sarasota and not the Venice/Port Charlotte area as usual. George could not find a rental in our usual area…Sarasota is only 35-40 miles north of there…but very close to Siesta Keys…an exceptional beach area. Since it’s being predicted to be an even harsher winter than the past winter, I’m very please to be able to get out of this area. Now if it’ll stay warm in Florida!
I’ve started on knitting another sweater for myself and it may take the rest of my life to get it finished. I had my right shoulder fixed almost two years ago so now my left shoulder is demanding equal time. I sure don’t want to go through that surgery again, but will if I have to do so….just not yet! Growing old sure has it’s challenges!
Guess I’d better get busy knitting and/or doing something constructive. Enjoy the day and love to you all.
Blessings……
