Today we will be celebrating the life and joy that Lori brings to our life. Lori is our first son’s wife and she has brought him, along with us, much happiness these last several years. Happy, happy birthday, Lori, and may you continue to be blessed with good health, much happiness, and a deeper walk with the Lord. Love you sweet lady!
We had our first light frost Sunday morning, so today I will be pulling out the wilted/burnt flowers at the blue house and I really don’t have a clue as to what to do with the flower boxes now. Previous years I put some artificial fall stuff in there but that looked rather dorky so I may just leave them empty until next spring. This is another busy month and then we’ll hit the winter pace of doing very little. We”ve had an unusually busy spring, summer, and fall and for that we are thankful.
Victoria, our niece, has gotten a job in Gonzales, TX as an assistant county attorney and they are very excited about what all that entails. Kevin will finish this semester of grad school before he joins her there which might mean they will have a very exciting/busy/frustrating next few month. We wish her (them) much success in this newest adventure/journey of their lives.
Let’s all remember Lori today and wish her a very happy birthday…congratulate Victoria on getting a permanent job…and love on all those important people in our lives. We’re looking forward to our upcoming weekend with Linda and Jim and know that will be fun time of catching up. Have a great week and enjoy this beautiful season the Lord has blessed us with. Love to you all.
Blessings…..
