Today is the day one of our grandsons…our son Carter’s second son…will marry his best friend and the love of his life. They have known each other since their college days and have been together for quite sometime. The rehearsal dinner last night was a very nice event and I know the wedding today will be beautiful. We are all very happy for this couple and we wish Chance and Emily a lifetime of happiness together. More on this day later!
Carter and Lori came in yesterday and it’s so good to have them here. There’s not much better things than having your kids under your roof…for a short time…and catching up on what’s going on in their lives. We’ll also get to spend a little time with Linda and Jim…my sister and her husband…my brother Lawrence and his wife Linda and their son Buddy. Of course, like any big affair, there won’t be a lot of togetherness among that masses but I will enjoy whatever we get.
We woke up to a balmy 35 degrees this morning so Florida is looking better all the time. Thankfully the sun is shining today and it will get a tad warmer as the day goes on. Therefore, it’s a great day for a wedding!!! Winter has arrived much earlier than usual and this next week it’s suppose to really show itself.
