Our Thanksgiving was a GREAT one with most of our family here. We ended up with 26 for dinner…four were friends…and we had plenty of food to eat, lots of conversation to share, and happy memories made…hopefully. Thanks to Carter, Clark, and Scott for your willingness to travel so far to make your mom and dad so happy! We missed the ones not able to come but maybe we will try to do this again before we get to old…and everyone show up! That would be a bunch but we’d love it to happen.
All through the Thanksgiving week our weather was bitter cold…even a dusting of snow on Thanksgiving morning. Now we’re having unusually warm days with lots of wind, and now rain. All of it’s better than snow! So, thank you Lord for the changing weather each day.
We are both looking forward to our time in Florida and seeing friends there that we haven’t seen since last year. Life is rough for the retirees! We have several guest coming to the blue house this month that will wrap up a very successful year for us. We have lots of repeat guest, that makes us happy, along with many through the VRBO web site. We do enjoy meeting the different ones that stay there and will be looking for 2015 to be another successful year.
I need to put up some Christmas decorations but I’m finding it hard to want to do that. I won’t be putting up a tree since we are not even sure if we’ll be here on Christmas day…may go to Scott’s to see if Santa comes to see the twins…and I’ll want all the Christmas stuff put away before we leave for Florida. I don’t want to come home in March to Christmas decorations still up! Now if someone would come decorate for me, that’d be great as long as they put it all away for me, also. I think I’ve become a scrooge.
I need to get busy doing things here, and the blue house, so I’ll be praying all that read this are well, happy, and enjoying each day given to us by our Lord and Savior. Love to you all!
