Lots happening….

To say this week will be a busy one is putting it mildly!  Tomorrow…Sunday the 21st…after church, we will be going to Louisville to have lunch and our Christmas with Melissa and her family and I’m so looking forward to that.  These times are getting limited since the kids are growing up so fast and starting to leave the nest.  Then later in the afternoon, we’ll be going to dinner with Lacey…not sure of any others…and that, too, will be a special time.  She wanted to cook for us but was afraid to do so with my crazy GF diet.  Regardless, it should be a busy, fun day.

On Monday we will finish getting our stuff together that we plan to take to Florida, clean the ‘blue house’…once the guest leave…and then clean this house.  That’s our fun day!  Tuesday we will be having our Christmas with the Crocketts and going to dinner with them…another fun time!  Wednesday we are headed to Atoka so we can have the “real” Christmas with the twins and see if Santa shows up on Thursday.  Oh ya, Scott and Allison will be there too!!!! Friday we head back home, greet our new guest that will be here by the time we arrive home, pack the car so we can head out again the next morning.  Saturday we’ll be going to Carter and Lori’s for the night and to visit with her parents…really nice people.  Sunday, at some point, we’ll be headed to Rogersville, AL to spend that night with George’s cousin and his wife…Jerry and Margaret Page.  Monday we hope to see some former Wilmore neighbors that have moved near Huntsville and spend a couple hours with them…probably go eat some Bar-B-Q for lunch…and then hit the road again as we will finally be heading for Florida.  We’ll drive as far as we want that day, then spend the night at some point, and finally get to Sarasota on Tuesday the 30th.  That’s a lot of stops but we are very excited about seeing everyone and getting to catch up with everyone.  We’ll miss seeing Lawrence, Linda, and Buddy, along with Linda, Jim, and all their kids/grandkids, but there was just not enough time to catch up with everyone.

Tomorrow it will be eight months since daddy died…mom has been gone eleven…and I still feel the need to call them and check up on how they are doing most every day.  Holidays seem to make the void so much stronger and the tears flow so easy.  I”m thankful they are not in the pain, for mom, and the loneliness, for dad, any longer but I sure would love to wish them a very Merry Christmas just this one more time.  Cherish every day you have with the ones you love!!!

Have a good weekend and stay warm!  It’s so bitter cold, gloomy, and dreary here in Kentucky and I’m so looking forward to the warm beaches of Florida that comes with lots of sunshine.  Love to you all.

Blessings…..
