Here it is the last Sunday of 2014 and so much has happened this year….some was good and some was not so good. We are currently in Franklin, TN visiting with our son Carter and his lovely wife, Lori…along with her parents. We got on the road yesterday morning and to say there was lots of traffic is putting it very mildly. Thankfully we were able to stop by my sister’s house and visit with ALL of her family for a bit before we came here. Michael and his family and Jim Jr. and his family were all there and it was so good to see all of them. All the kids are so cute and pleasant to be around.
Lori had a fantastic dinner for all of us and her table was full…both people and food. My brother Lawrence and his family joined us along with Chase, Chance, and Emily. We were blessed to have been with 14 of our 15 grandchildren and four of our five kids during this holiday week…a very rare occurrence…and we couldn’t be happier that this happen. They are ALL so special to us and we couldn’t be more blessed. Thank you, Lori and Carter, for hosting the day and opening your beautiful home to so many. Love you two!!!
We’ll be headed to Alabama after church today and we’re looking forward to seeing some of George’s family…along with some former Wilmore friends…and, again, we feel so blessed. Of course, it’s raining and another gloomy day but this is all so that Florida will be even more special.
Enjoy the last bit of 2014 and we can’t wait to see what all will happen in 2015! Love to all and please pray our travel will remain safe. We saw a terrible wreck yesterday and pray there will not be any more!
Blessings….
