Sunday night

What a beautiful day today!  In fact, the last few days have been near perfect and for that I am very thankful.  We had Madi and Tyler here yesterday and most of today…Melissa and Byron were off celebrating their anniversary and couldn’t find anyone in Louisville to watch them.  Ryan and Kyle were with the church youth group enjoying all the activities that goes with the large youth rally called “Youth In Action”…it started on Friday night and went until noon today…the kids and sponsors all stay at a Holiday Inn but the activities are at the church building.  Hopefully it went well, the speakers were well received, and the attendees feel as though they worshipped and praised God throughout the weekend.

All the Gabehart kids start school on Tuesday and the Crockett’s on Wednesday…Lacey has a couple more weeks before she begins her last semester of high school.  My prayer is that they may each one have a wonderful year, learn a lot, and grow to love the Lord more each day.  I’m not sure when Branden, Chase, Chance, or Sean start back or begin classes but I’m sure it will be in the next few days.  Your Mimi loves each of you and couldn’t be more proud of you.  God has really blessed our family!!!

Tanya, you’ll be in my prayers as you put your baby, Grayson, in first grade…I remember the heartache when you went to first grade.  The empty nest is a difficult thing regardless if it’s first grade, college, or marriage.  You’re a good mother and I know Grayson is ready to spread his wings just a little bit more so hang in there!

We don’t have any definite plans for this week but I feel sure there will be some days of painting on the outside of the house, along with cleaning on the inside of the house, and maybe some time of doing NOTHING.  I may even find some time to read, knit or crochet.  One can only hope!

Enjoy watching the Olympics…they are all incredible!…and may the world seek peace.

Blessings……
