When I check the radar to see what the weather is like at home, and my heart aches for all of you. Not only is it cold, it’s FREEZING!!! We, too, are having cold weather, for Florida, but nothing like all of you are having. It was 41 when we got up yesterday, and quite windy, so there was no going to the beach for us. It never got above the low 60’s, which would be a real heat wave at home…we’re having to use the heat in our place and that’s very unusual…but this is just a temporary problem. Many years we never turn on the heat, or the A/C, and we are always comfortable.
Speaking of the beach, we haven’t been but one time so far and that was just to watch the sunset. It is suppose to get warmer next week, and the beach is definitely on our ((my) agenda. The sun is having a hard time showing up today, so it doesn’t seem to be warming up much, but it will be back by Sunday.
We continue to walk at least a couple of miles each day and it’s good getting back in the habit. We’ve walked at a Mall a couple of times due to various reasons and that’s OK but walking outside is a lot more pleasant…that is if it’s not cold! We, also, went to see “Imagination Game” yesterday and that was a pretty good movie. We plan on seeing “Unbroken” soon…once we make arrangements to go with Ron and Jean…and that will be the most movies we’ve seen in the last couple of years! From the previews we saw yesterday, there isn’t a lot coming up that would be worth seeing either.
Not much to write about, so guess I’ll finish the laundry before hitting the dock to see if there are any fish out this morning. Have a good day, stay warm, and know I am thinking about you and praying for you to all be warm and safe during these freezing days. Love to you all.
