We had such a beautiful day yesterday and we were so thankful. I know all of you back home are freezing, but it got cold down here, too, if that’ll make you feel better. Of course our cold, is nothing in comparison to your cold. Now today it’s raining, with more heavier rain headed our way, but it’s warm, thankfully. Regardless, we are enjoying our time here and glad we’ll be here until March.
One year ago today, Mother left this life, and her worn out body, to be with the Lord. Oh what a sad, sad day that was and how I have missed being able to talk with her just one more time. As I’ve said before, I wouldn’t have her back to endure the pain she was having with her back being broken, the real possibility of her never walking again, and the continued issues of being in her mid 90’s, but oh how I have missed her. Rest in peace sweet mother, rest in peace. My love for you will continue until I join you.
Enjoy your day, as we will, and maybe we’ll even catch another big fish. Here are our biggest fish, so far. George has a red fish and I have a Jack Cravelle and a Snook. Fun catching them and they each lived to be caught again another day.
