Our time here in Florida is coming to an end in just ten more days and I’m sure not looking forward to going back to the extreme cold/snow in Wilmore. It’s cool here in Florida, along with strong winds, so there may be no more beach days this trip. We have had a great time and we are so thankful we have had this time here again this year.
Yesterday…Tuesday…we met up with some Louisville friends for lunch and that was a good time. We met in St. Armands and enjoyed a good meal at the Columbia House Restaurant…I love their 1905 salad! Thanks David and Jenni for coming our way and enjoying a lunch with us. Tomorrow we’re having a late lunch/early dinner with Ron and Jean, along with Bob and Kathy from Wilmore, and we’re looking forward to that. It seems like all we do down here is eat when we get together with friends…but what else can we do? Guess that’s why it’s so important to get those daily miles walked every day! Regardless, we enjoy the times we are with friends. We”ll see Bob and Kathy in Wilmore, since we are neighbors and attend church together, but it will be awhile before we see Ron and Jean, and that’s sad. They are special friend and so much fun to be with.
