How could two months go by so quickly? Even though the weather has been cooler than normal, we have been able to enjoy the beach on several occasions, fish from the dock most every day…and even caught some nice size fish…,found lots of good restaurants, managed to spend money at a rapid rate, visited with several friends that we’ve learned to love through the years of coming here…even some from Louisville and Wilmore…, got to visit with Carter, Lori, and Scott while here, and even walked a few miles each day. We did need to wear our sweatshirts on many days, and the evenings were even cooler, but…when compared to home, we have no room for complaints.
We will be heading home in the morning (Saturday) and we know it may prove to be an interesting ride through some areas. Therefore, we would appreciate everyone praying we will have safe travel, all vehicles will remain in their proper lanes, and the roads will have been cleared of the current 10-12 inches of snow. I really do dread going home to the cold/snow/ice, but it is always good to get back to what our normal consist of and sleep in our own bed! We will be back next year and will look forward to being back.
