Our ladies retreat was a most enjoyable time and we all came back home with a renewed desire to have “Java With Jesus” each day. The ladies that put this together did an outstanding job and were worn out when it was all over. Unless you have done this thankless job, you can’t appreciate all that goes into having such a successful retreat. It was refreshing to see the difference in being a “surviving vs. thriving” women…Ruth and Naomi were the examples used. Many things were said that reminded us that it’s so important to take time with Jesus each day and not just when we feel the need in times of troubles…it’s the relationship were seeking and that comes with time spent together.
I loved the accomodations at Clifty Falls Resort…the scenery overlooking the river was good, the rooms were roomy enough, the food was very tasty…three BIG meals each day…, and the staff there could not be better.  OUR “coffee shop”  was the hit of each day with so many flavors to chose from, many yummy snacks to eat, and then the evening entertainment of the Karaoke… this was very fun. I never knew we had so many talented ladies! Thanks Melissa for letting us enjoy using your machine.Â
God revealed himself through so many women and the bonding and love for each other will carry on for eternity. I love my time with God each morning and this was such a reminder of why it is so enjoyable.
