Madi’s special day…

Madi is 14 years old as of today…how can that be?  Madison is a very talented girl in several different areas.  She’s a gifted athlete and loves running sprints in track and playing volleyball.  She’s, also, quite an artist and loves to draw ALL THE TIME!…a good student…and just a fun girl to be around.  Since this is her spring break week, she will be coming to spend some time with us…also Kyle and Tyler are trying to work it out to come, which is always fun for us.  The fun with Madi will cease slightly if you take her shopping.  That girl loves to shop and can wear a body out!!!  Regardless,  Happy birthday, Madi, and you are loved more than you’ll ever know.

We had a rather quiet Easter this year and that’s not all bad…no egg hunt!  Our service at church was exceptional and then the Crockett family came here for brunch and to show us their pictures from their vacation to the grand canyon, etc.  Beautiful and only God could create those beautiful sights.  They got home Saturday night just in time for the UK ballgame and were so disappointed that the Cats lost.  Their team had a fantastic season and will shine again next year, I’m sure.

I think spring may have actually sprung here in central Kentucky.  We did get up Easter Sunday to a heavy frost, but the day proved to be beautiful with lots of sunshine.  I am so ready to plant some flowers, but I won’t just yet…frost can happen until derby day which is the first weekend in May.  Our area really is pretty in the spring so I will continue to admire what the Lord is blessing us with each day.

Have a great week, enjoy the beauty of spring, and know you are loved.

Blessings…….
