All updates are NOT good….

I wish they would NOT update these sites until they are certain everything will work as it should and not cause grief for those of us trying to use them.  With that said…I’m back, I hope!

Life continues on as usual for us but not for all.  We heard from Clark that he will be having surgery to repair his RIGHT arm that was injusred when he was wrestling a friend’s eight year old.  Clark said he’s big and it was a fluke but the tendon still reptured and will now need repairing.  He’ll be in a full cast for 12 weeks!  Please pray he’ll do well with the surgery and heal completely so he’ll have total use of his dominate arm once more.  Carter and Lori are on vacation this week in the Caribbean and that would be much more fun that what Clark is doing.

I can’t brag on all 15 of the grand kids but here’s a few stand-outs for this week…Kyle is in Orlando on his senior trip and I know he’s having lots of fun.  He’s so ready for college and can’t wait to start at WKU on a full scholarship this fall.  Jerod is now in the Govenors Scholar program, had a perfect score of 36 on his ACT, and still has one more year of high school.  Tyler has been declared a master pianist on the senior college level by his piano instructor at his high school.  He’s so gifted and beyond anything one would imagine that had had no lessons until this elective at school.  Meredith has been ask to the prom by a nice young man and so looking forward to that.  Madi has been cleared to start training for track once more…now to keep that leg healthy!  All the other kids are exceptional, too, and we feel so blessed to have each one in our life.  I will post more as I hear about all the great stuff they are doing.

Spring is here for today and it’s absolutely beautiful here in the “bluegrass” state.  Of course, next week we do have some predictions of being in the LOW 30’s so hope my flowers I’m planting today will survivie.  I know not to plant before Derby day but I can’t seem to wait that long once we start getting some sunny days.

Have a good weekend and enjoy your day today.  Time for me to get myself ready to start digging in the dirt and planting the flowers…mostly at the “blue house”.  Summer will be busy with all the guest coming our way and that makes us happy, happy, happy.  Love to you all.

Blessings…..
