We have another rainy weekend and storms are on the way. Â I just pray the storms won’t be as bad as they are predicting….large tennis ball size hail, tornados, rain, etc.
We are having fun being grandparents while Tanya and Daniel are out of town with friends. Â These kids are amazingly good…never a cross word is said to each other…but they sure are busy. Â Because of the rain, the baseball game for Blake and Grayson has been cancelled today and we’re trying to decide what to do now! Â They do have practice from 1-2:30 but that’s about when the storms arrive so I doubt that will happen. Wish there were some decent movies to pick from but there’s not any we could find. Â So, again, what to do, what to do? Â Meredith is in Louisville for a track meet and won’t be home until late tonight. Jerod works from 3-11 p.m., so all we need to entertain this evening will be Blake and Grayson.
We are still waiting for spring to really arrive and stop all this foolishness of freezing my new plants at night, raining nearly every day, and off/on sunshine…mostly off! Â Come on spring! Â Time for you to show off before summer gets here. Â It is pretty in central KY this time of the year so all isn’t really lost.
Clark is slowly improving but his surgery has been an extremely painful one. Â He’s finally able to manage the pain better and feels he might actually survive all this. Â The surgeon was able to reattach the tendon and Clark’s arm will be in a full hard cast for the next 12 weeks. Â He said writing might be a problem as that’s his dominate arm but he’ll do the best he can with being a “lefty”.
Tanya and Daniel come home tomorrow and we’ll be heading to Cincinnati for a Reds ballgame…hopefully it won’t be raining there. Â That’s always a fun event and we would like to see them win against the Cubs, but we’ll see. Â I guess it depends on how badly they want to win!
Also, Carter and Lori will be coming home either today, or tomorrow, after a wonderful vacation in the Carribbean. Â They said it was beautiful and they have had a wonderful time. Â They are blessed that they have the means to be able to do things like this.
Continue to pray for Clark, safety for Tanya and Daniel as they travel home, Carter and Lori as they, too return home, and for God to reign in our lives each day. Â Love to all.
Blessings….
