Today we celebrate the life of our first daughter, Melissa Ann Gabehart. Melissa was the first girl in the Ezell family in over five decades and what a joy she has been. Melissa is the mother to four of our grandchildren, works hard as a realtor and is quite successful I might add, stays extremely busy trying to keep up with the different schedules from everyone she lives with, and I love her dearly. May today be a good day for her and may her life be a true celebration to all of us that love her. Happy, happy birthday Melissa!
My heart breaks for the city of Baltimore and all the shame that is being brought on that city by the lawlessness of the many thugs. Evil is certainly being displayed there and the innocent are the ones that will suffer for a long time. Lord come quickly!!!!
Clark continues to improve but is still not pain free…but he said he’s managing it. Getting dressed each day is a challenge as nothing will fit over that big cast on his arm. Oh well, guess that’s all the more reason to stay home, rest, and heal. Carter and Lori got home Saturday night and said they had a great time and got lots of sunshine and rest. They are in Birmingham most of this week…Carter is working and Lori is being a grandma! Glad they get to do all they do. Tanya and Daniel got home Sunday afternoon and they, too, said they had a good time of relaxing with friends…and we survived the four Crockett kids and they survived us.
George and I had a good time at the Reds game Sunday afternoon, even though they came up short on the runs. The day was almost perfect…we had expected it to be quite cool…and we were glad we went. This is something we enjoy doing and try to go a couple of times every year. Our next trip will be on our anniversary but we’ll be staying in that area for a couple of days doing other fun stuff. Life continues to be good for us and for that we are very thankful.
Guess that’s about it and I’m happy to say that the sun is shining here again today. Two days straight and no rain!!! Amazing and it’s really beautiful here right now. Happy birthday Melissa and may you be blessed with many more!
Blessings…..
