The month of May went by so fast! I know as one gets older the days seem to go by quicker, but seriously? June is a good month so I’m looking forward to enjoying this busy month for us. The “blue house” is almost completely full this month and we are thankful for that…Madi will graduate from middle school this Thursday…Kyle graduates from high school with honors…our anniversary is this month and we’ll get to enjoy that special time in Cincinnati…Daniel has another birthday…Tyler and Kyle will be in the same baseball tournament here during the father’s day weekend and I hope they play against each other…Father’s day will be celebrated…Carter and Lori are coming here…and, I’m sure, each day will be blessed with something fun. Now to get the sun to come back!
It feels like early spring here right now…no sun, off/on rain, and cool. Yesterday we didn’t even get into the 60’s but today will be warmer, thankfully…low 70’s. Our weather pattern has definitely changed but that’s OK and we certainly can’t complain when we see what’s going on in other areas of our world. At least we aren’t COLD with snow.
Not much going on here that would be of interest. We are both doing well and seem to enjoy each day doing whatever comes along. George is still making LOTS of neat stuff out in his shop while I continue to crochet, or knit, on stuff here in the house. I am thankful we both have hobbies we enjoy! We both enjoy reading so we seem to do quite a lot of that…our quiet time, I guess…but I’m not sure just what OLD folks should be doing?
